Action Teams:

Coordinated Action Network Team

The Coordinated Action Network Team (CAN) is a decision making Action Team of IMC. We strive to be sleek, efficient, representative, and agile.  We vet different action opportunities on merit and recommend high priorities.  If you know of an action that is high priority and should be amplified by the CAN Team, submit it here for the CAN Team to consider. Contact: coordinatedactiondispatch@gmail.com.

Feminist Action Team

The Feminist Action Team fights for a democracy that values and ensures equal rights for women by organizing local standouts and providing a toolkit for other actions. Contact: femactteam@indivisible-ma.org

Immigration Justice Action Team

The Immigration Justice Action Team coordinates, amplifies, and strategically supports immigrant justice campaigns and actions across Massachusetts, working in close alignment with existing organizations without duplicating their work. Contact: immigration-justice-action-team@indivisible-ma.org.

Legislative Reform Action Team

The Legislative Reform Action Team devises strategies to improve the functioning of our dysfunctional Massachusetts legislature, rated the least productive and least transparent legislature in the country.  This includes building support for reforms, including remodeling the stipend system, reestablishing independent research capacity, and promoting an open process. Contact: legislative-reform-action-team@indivisible-ma.org.

LGBTQ+ Action Team

The purpose of LGBTQ+ Action Team is to share resources, news and actions related to the LGBTQ+ community. Contact: LGBTQ-action-team@indivisible-ma.org.

No Mass Incarceration Action Team

The No Mass Incarceration Action Team’s primary focus is on stopping the $360 million new women’s prison complex. It works with a state-wide coalition on mobilizing public pressure, participating in a media campaign, advocating for relevant legislation, and strategizing with legal teams. Contact: NoMassIncarceration@indivisible-ma.org.

Election Integrity Action Team

The Election Integrity Action Team decreases barriers to voting access by helping to pass state and federal legislation, registering voters, and getting out the vote. In 2026, the team will be working with organizations that specialize in addressing the unique challenges posed by the current administration’s effort to keep Republicans in power at all costs. Contact: info@indivisible-ma.org.
